Jamie and Natalie Gameson - racing with the personal touch

"I would like to thank our wonderful owners that have supported us, not only are you owners of horses in my stables but have also become very good friends. The best part about my job is sharing the joys of winning with these great people!"            Jamie Gameson

2016 Sale of the Stars Draft

Christchurch 23rd & 24th February 2016

Welcome to Gameson Racing Stables and Dunvegan Lodge Yearling Preparation.

Jamie Gameson is now in his ninth season training on his own account and last season was his best to date. With a nice bunch of horses around him hopefully he can increase the total this season.

The season highlights were Here We Go Again winning the Group 2 Peter Breckon Memorial Stakes in December 2011 at Alexandra Park. Also training three winners at a Forbury Park meeting was an exciting night.

Jamie and Natalie run a very successful Yearling Preparation business and have helped produce some outstanding yearlings over the years. Galleons Sunset, Badlands Bute, Likmesiah, Natural Franco, Galleons Assassin, Mapua Legend, Thanksgiving, Classiesister, Move Over to name but a few.

They are always looking for new clients so would love to hear from you if you are interested in selling your yearling at the next

sales.

Jamie had this to say about their racing and yearling stable:

"We aren’t a big operation and attention to detail is paramount when dealing with your cherished bloodstock. We like to treat them all as if they are our own."

To keep Jamie working hard he and his staff break in all of their own young horses. Starting the process from the beginning always makes it more rewarding when they are winning on the track.

Jamie & Natalie are also avid breeders and have a nice band of broodmares which they breed from and raise their foals every season.

Spring time is always exciting around the farm, especially when their young children can come out and watch a mare foal, their excitement is overwhelming!

You can see they are in it for the long-haul, especially after having success breeding a Group 1 winner in Mustang Mach who won the 2012 NZ Messenger.
